Loots said performance benefited from a stronger gold price and a 40% increase in production, reflecting a full year of output from Australia and Mogale Tailings Retreatment (MTR), alongside strong showings from Elikhulu, Evander and Barberton. The company has also strengthened its balance sheet, moving from net debt to what Loots described as a "really healthy cash balance." Looking ahead, Pan African is targeting production of around 280,000 to 300,000 ounces, with the South African portfolio expected to hold its performance alongside rising output from Tennant Mines. Loots also discussed the ramp-up at Tennant Mines and the potential of the White Devil deposit, calling it "one of the highest grading deposits in Australia" at around 3.5 grams per tonne, remaining open at depth and along strike.
