![]() Rockfire Resources' CEO: Molaoi 'pushing ahead on multiple fronts' toward 2027 feasibility study Rockfire Resources PLC (LSE:ROCK) chief executive David Price spoke with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about progress at the Molaoi project in Greece, where drilling and technical studies are feeding into a planned feasibility study next year. Price said infill drilling continues to intersect zinc as expected, while the company is also analysing for germanium, previously unassayed, aiming for a maiden inferred germanium resource alongside an upgraded indicated resource for zinc, lead and silver. Drilling is set to restart in late August after the summer shutdown, with Rockfire's own rig arriving in September. The plan is to run two rigs, including one testing northern extensions to gauge the resource's potential scale. Alongside drilling, Price outlined an ecological study of the licence's northern area, ongoing hydrology monitoring, and lab work including comminution testing and unconfined compressive strength testing to inform underground mine design. The company is also investigating X-ray ore sorting to boost grade before processing, and has begun studies into potentially rehabilitating the historic underground mine. "Things are really happening and we're pushing ahead on multiple fronts and we're keen to get this underway," Price said, adding: "Next year we're aiming for our feasibility study. And all of this feeds into that feasibility study." Visit Proactive's YouTube channel for more interviews and market updates.
