Investing.com -- AI infrastructure names delivered a week of strong gains, with memory, server and neocloud stocks rallying on results and guidance, while a high-profile consumer name went the other way.

Server solutions provider Super Micro (NASDAQ:SMCI) fell short of the market’s revenue expectations in Q2 CY2026, but sales rose 93.2% year on year to $11.12 billion. On the other hand, next quarter’s outlook exceeded expectations with revenue guided to $15 billion at the midpoint, or 26.7% above analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $1.70 per share was 77.5% above analysts’ consensus estimates.

The mix that produced it included contracts pushed out of the June quarter, and the September guide already takes the margin back down.

The stock market cleared a tight range, with the S&P 500 and Russell 2000 hitting new highs. Lumentum, Cisco, Super Micro, Sandisk were key movers.
