Novo Resources advances Tibooburra gold exploration - ICYMI Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO, FRA:1NOR) earlier this week outlined plans for a 2,700-metre reverse circulation drilling program at the Tibooburra Gold Project in New South Wales, targeting extensions to high-grade mineralisation at Clone and a previously undrilled...
Novo Resources targets high-grade gold at Tibooburra Novo Resources Corp executive chairman Mike Spreadborough talked with Proactive about the company’s planned 2,700-metre reverse circulation drilling program at the Tibooburra Gold Project in New South Wales. Spreadborough was joined by general manager of exploration Rohan Williams to outline the objectives of the campaign, which is expected to begin late in the September quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory and landholder approvals. The program is planned to include approximately 1,700 metres of drilling at the Clone prospect and 1,000 metres at Pioneer South. At Clone, Novo Resources Corp aims to extend high-grade gold mineralisation identified during its previous drilling campaign. Earlier results cited in the interview included 12 metres at 5.9 grams per tonne gold, 17 metres at 2.4 grams per tonne and four metres at 13.7 grams per tonne. Williams said the mineralised system appeared to plunge shallowly to the north beneath a creek. He explained that the company’s objective was to follow the structure and “replicate these high-grade intercepts that we received last year and track it down plunge.” The campaign represents the second stage of Novo Resources Corp’s farm-in and joint venture arrangement with Manhattan Gold Corporation Ltd and its subsidiary, Awati Resources Pty Ltd. Completion of the program is expected to allow Novo Resources Corp to earn a 70% interest in the project and become manager of the joint venture. The company also plans further soil sampling across the wider 22-kilometre system to improve its understanding of the source and scale of the gold mineralisation. Novo Resources expands Wyloo silver targets - ICYMI Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO, FRA:1NOR) earlier this week confirmed that maiden reverse circulation drilling at its Wyloo Polymetallic Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara had identified a significant hydrothermal alteration system and returned high-grade silver and...

Novo Resources completes maiden RC drilling; targets new Pilbara discoveries Novo Resources executive co-chairman Mike Spreadborough and general manager of exploration Rohan Williams talked with Proactive about maiden reverse circulation drilling at the company’s Wyloo Polymetallic Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara, where work confirmed a significant hydrothermal alteration system and returned high-grade silver and antimony mineralisation from surface. Spreadborough explained that Novo Resources is focused on greenfields exploration and follows a disciplined, staged approach to assessing its portfolio. Williams said the drilling had improved Novo Resources’ understanding of the broader hydrothermal system at Wyloo. He highlighted the Vera prospect, located immediately east of the initial drilling area, where high-grade antimony rock-chip results have been identified within a shear zone. A soil-sampling grid remains open to the north, giving the company scope to extend its geochemical coverage. Novo also plans further infill soil sampling, mapping and groundwork across additional targets before determining the most effective locations for future drilling. Spreadborough also discussed the early-stage Toolunga project, a land package of approximately 1,200 square kilometres containing both Novo Resources-owned and joint-venture ground. Historical geophysical work has helped the company identify three principal targets. Subject to approvals, fieldwork is planned ahead of a potential drilling campaign in early 2027.
