![]() Arrow Exploration reaches record production above 6,000 boe/d, advances Colombia drilling program Arrow Exploration CEO Marshall Abbott joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an operational update on the company's activities at the Icaco field on the Tapir Block in Colombia's prolific Llanos Basin, while also highlighting record corporate production levels and a strong financial position following its recent acquisition in Canada. Abbott reported that Arrow's total corporate production has now surpassed 6,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), marking the highest production rate in the company's history. The record output includes contributions from the recently acquired Thorsby field in Alberta and reflects the success of recent drilling campaigns, strong workover results, and strategic acquisitions. The company believes it remains well positioned to continue growing production through its extensive inventory of exploration and development opportunities across its portfolio. At the Tapir Block, Arrow recently drilled the Icaco-6 (IC-6) well, which was spud on August 19 and reached total depth on August 24. During drilling operations, the well encountered a fault zone and experienced significant lost circulation and drilling fluid losses before reaching its intended target. As a result, management elected to case the well early and convert it into a water disposal well. Abbott noted that while the well did not reach its primary drilling objectives, the additional water disposal capacity is expected to generate meaningful operational benefits by lowering field operating costs and improving efficiency across the Icaco development area. The company's next well, IC-7, was spud on September 1 and will target multiple productive horizons, including the C7, Gacheta, and Ubaque formations. Arrow views the well as an important step in continuing to unlock the broader potential of the Tapir Block. Abbott also provided an update on discussions surrounding the Tapir Block extension, noting that the company continues to engage constructively with Colombian regulatory authorities. He said Arrow is encouraged by the country's new pro-business administration and its stated commitment to supporting investment and growth in Colombia's oil and gas sector. Looking at its financial position, Arrow remains well capitalized. Following the US$8.9 million payment associated with the Thorsby acquisition, the company reported an estimated cash balance of US$21.8 million as of September 1, 2026. Abbott said the strong balance sheet provides flexibility to continue funding growth initiatives while maintaining financial discipline. With record production, an expanding asset base, ongoing drilling activity in Colombia, and a healthy cash position, Arrow Exploration believes it is well positioned to continue delivering operational and production growth through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. #proactiveinvestors #arrowexplorationinc #aim #axl #tsxv #axl #ColombiaEnergy #MarshallAbbott #Mateguafa #LlanosBasin #ColombiaOil #OilAndGas #ColombiaEnergy #LlanosBasin #EnergyStocks #OilProduction #CanadianEnergy #ResourceInvesting #Thorsby #SmallCapStocks | ||

Most of the price is tied to future revenue, keeping the deal self-funding. Rome Resources Plc (AIM:RMR) has returned strong tin and tungsten results from its New Brunswick exploration in Canada. Trenching starts in September, with a possible drill campaign lined up for 2027. Arrow Exploration Corp (TSX-V:AXL, AIM:AXL, OTC:CSTPF) called Q2 its "best quarter yet," with adjusted EBITDA up 300% year on year. Revenue more than doubled thanks to growth in Colombia's Tapir block. Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL) says a £2.28 million post-year-end fundraise has strengthened its balance sheet. It's now accelerating drilling at its Whistlejacket and San Domingo projects in Arizona. Sintana Energy Inc (TSX-V:SEI, OTCQB:SEUSF, FRA:3ZX1, AIM:SEI) says its cash balance rose to $15.5 million at the end of June. ![]() Arrow Exploration confirms four zones at Icaco 3, opens up ~10 new drilling locations Arrow Exploration Corp (TSX-V:AXL, AIM:AXL, OTC:CSTPF) CEO Marshall Abbott tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the Icaco 3 well has confirmed up to four hydrocarbon-bearing zones in the Icaco extension of the Tapir Block in Colombia, opening almost 10 additional development locations across the Ubaque, Guadalupe and Carbonera C7 intervals. The IC-HZ4 and IC-HZ5 horizontal wells encountered a record Ubaque thickness of over 100 feet, containing 13.7 API crude, with Abbott saying the Ubaque trend extends across the northern part of the Tapir Block, supporting further development drilling. With five new water disposal cellars complete, Arrow is preparing to skid its rig and drill continuously until at least June next year. Abbott said production currently sits above 5,000 boe/d, with the programme expected to push output "well north" of that level. The company remains cash-flow positive above its capex spend, and Abbott said the current oil price environment supports a more aggressive drilling stance. On the Tapir Block licence extension, Abbott said he recently met Colombia's national regulator and Ecopetrol in Bogota, pointing to Arrow's track record of five discoveries, 40 development wells and $127 million invested as evidence it's the type of explorer authorities want. He described dialogue as "very positive," with a decision expected before year-end.
