Silver Range Resources CEO Mike Power joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company's Drum Gold Project in central Utah, where a comprehensive review of historical exploration data has identified several promising targets for follow-up exploration. Power said the company has completed an extensive compilation and analysis of historical datasets generated by previous operators, including Goldfields Limited, Newmont Mining and Troymet Minerals. The historical database includes 41 drill holes, 476 surface rock samples, 1,121 soil samples and multiple geophysical surveys, including gravity, magnetic and VLF-EM datasets. The review has provided Silver Range with a significantly enhanced understanding of the project's geology and mineralization controls, helping the company refine its exploration strategy and prioritize areas for future work. According to Power, gold mineralization at the Drum Project is Eocene in age and exhibits many of the same geological and geochemical characteristics associated with Nevada's prolific Carlin Trend, one of the world's most productive gold districts. Previous exploration programs largely focused on identifying stratigraphically controlled gold mineralization within favorable rock units. However, Silver Range's analysis indicates that some of the strongest gold intercepts encountered in historical drilling are associated with structurally controlled mineralization rather than solely stratigraphic targets. As a result, the company plans to concentrate future exploration efforts on identifying and defining structurally controlled Carlin-style gold systems across the property. Power noted that several major Nevada gold deposits, including the world-class Goldstrike Mine and the emerging Fourmile Deposit, are examples of significant structurally controlled Carlin-style mineralization systems. The company believes similar geological processes may have operated at Drum, creating the potential for higher-grade gold zones associated with faulting and structural corridors. To advance the project, Silver Range plans to undertake a comprehensive field program focused on geological mapping, structural interpretation and alteration studies. Additional prospecting, soil geochemistry and geophysical surveys are also planned to refine target areas and generate new drill-ready opportunities. Silver Range Resources CEO Mike Power joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss encouraging exploration results from the company's East Goldfield Project in Nye County, Nevada, where recent sampling has identified new gold-bearing targets ahead of deeper drilling. Power said the company completed a three-phase sampling program using portable diamond drills to evaluate several prospective high-sulphidation feeder structures. The objective was to determine the extent and nature of near-surface gold mineralization previously identified through surface chip and grab sampling. Results showed that two of the three mineralized ledges tested are auriferous and warrant further exploration. Historical work suggests that much of the property's significant gold mineralization is likely blind, with gold-bearing structures at surface serving as indicators of larger mineralized systems at depth. At the Tom Keane Mine target, previous drilling has outlined a prospective zone at an average depth of 100 metres, while surface samples from nearby structures returned gold values ranging from trace amounts up to 3 g/t gold. The newly identified auriferous ledges are located approximately 1 to 1.1 kilometres northwest of the Tom Keane target. To further refine drill targets, Silver Range has also commissioned Big Sky Geophysics to conduct a 60-kilometre three-dimensional induced polarization (3DIP) and resistivity survey covering the entire property. The survey is designed to detect mineralized targets to depths of at least 500 metres and is expected to continue through the end of August.
