Novo Nordisk (CPSE:NOVO B) Stock Still Looks Undervalued After Dutch Court Win

Novo Nordisk stock has fallen sharply over the past three years, yet the broader valuation checks still flag it as looking cheap rather than stretched. Tech Weekly: soccer bots and balloon rockets

STORY: From robots taking to the field, to an old-school way to orbit, this is Tech Weekly. :: Tech Weekly Competitors are limbering up for the second World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing. Bots have been honing their skills in sports including soccer, with the occasional foul along the way. Nearly 30 international teams from 16 countries are set to take part when the games kick off on Saturday. Novo Nordisk boss Mike Doustdar says investors are getting it wrong on the fast-growing obesity drug market. He says patients will increasingly choose between drugs based on factors besides weight loss. “I think five years from now, more and more people would tell you that besides losing weight, I do want to have a reduced risk of a heart attack, a reduced risk of a stroke, a liver that's healthy and not fatty.” The Danish firm dominates the weight-loss drug market, alongside U.S. rival Eli Lilly. OpenAI and Nvidia have struck another big financing deal. The chipmaker will guarantee up to $105 billion to help the chatbot maker lease a massive data center being developed in Ohio. Critics say such deals add to worries over so-called circular financing, where money flows back and forth between the same companies. :: B2Space Satellites could get an old-fashioned ride to space. UK-Spanish startup B2Space is using balloons to lift rockets into the stratosphere, from where it’s cheaper and easier to get to orbit. Co-founder Valentin Canales says the balloons can also carry systems that complement satellites: “So for example sometimes when there are emergencies or disasters the communication infrastructure breaks apart and there’s no mobile phone coverage, there is no radio coverage. So we can put radios on these balloons, fly them very high and they can act as a communications relay to connect people that are very far away.” And France’s top court has blocked a bill banning social media for under-15s, ruling that the move infringed freedom of expression. President Emmanuel Macron has asked his government to rewrite the legislation in response. France is the first country in Europe to follow Australia’s pioneering ban on access to TikTok and other such platforms for young people.
