Itaconix reports record first-half revenue, raises 2026 outlook Itaconix PLC (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF, FRA:18G0) CEO John Shaw joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's record first-half 2026 financial results, driven by strong demand across its sustainable ingredient portfolio and continued growth in key detergent markets. The company reported unaudited revenue of $8.3 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, representing a 72% increase over the first half of 2025 and a 46% improvement compared with the second half of 2025. Gross profit margin is expected to remain steady at 36%, reflecting effective management of raw material costs and supply chains. Growth was led by the Performance Ingredients business, which supplies the dish detergent market in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America. The segment benefited from strong repeat orders, the addition of a new unit-dose dish detergent customer in EMEA, and a new unit-dose laundry detergent customer in North America. The company's SPARX™ Formulated Solutions business also expanded as demand increased for its formulations used in solid unit-dose dishwashing and laundry detergents. In addition, Itaconix continues to develop longer-term growth opportunities through its BIO*Asterix® specialty monomers and binders for paints and its BioVail™ plant nutrition ingredient for agricultural applications. Shaw said the company is pleased with its progress and now expects full-year 2026 revenue of at least $14.8 million, exceeding current analyst expectations of $13.3 million. The board also continues to forecast a small positive EBITDA for the year while maintaining investments in product development and expanding its workforce to support future growth. Itaconix plans to release its full interim results in September, providing additional details on its strong first-half performance. He's relaxed about market volatility and says the balance sheet could support another deal similar in size to Scottish Widows Europe. Itaconix (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF, FRA:18G0) CEO John Shaw says revenues hit $10.5 million last year, up 61%, and he's targeting $25 to $30 million within five years. The plant-based ingredient company is winning business across detergent brands in both Europe and North America. IXICO (LSE:IXI, OTC:PHYOF, FRA:PYPB) CEO Bram Goorden says its new Medidata partnership opens the door to thousands of global clinical trials. The collaboration strengthens IXICO’s ability to scale, giving the company access to larger and more complex clinical trials. MP Evans (AIM:MPE) had a record 2025 — gross profit hit $142 million on the back of strong palm oil prices and bigger harvests. The company is debt-free, still buying land, and says 2026 has started well. Quadrise (AIM:QED) CEO Peter Borup says the company is down to two outstanding items before its large-scale trial with MSC and Cargill can move forward.
